University of Lahore faculty positions 2025: Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer
University of Lahore is hiring full-time faculty for the 2025 academic year in four ranks—Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Lecturer—across five major schools on its Defence Road campus in Lahore, Punjab. These appointments follow Higher Education Commission (HEC) standards: doctoral degrees for Professor and Associate Professor posts, MPhil/MS for Assistant Professors and Master’s for Lecturers. Successful candidates will deliver lectures, supervise student research, contribute to curriculum design and serve on academic committees. We’re looking for educators with a track record of quality teaching or published research, who can foster critical thinking and hands-on learning in disciplines ranging from engineering and health sciences to social sciences, business and the arts. Qualifications & Experience
- Professor: PhD in the relevant field; at least 10 years of teaching or research; minimum 10 peer-reviewed papers in HEC-recognized journals.
- Associate Professor: PhD holder with 6+ years post-doctoral teaching or research; evidence of student supervision; at least 4 publications.
- Assistant Professor: PhD or MPhil/MS (first division); 3+ years of university teaching or equivalent professional practice; publications or conference presentations preferred.
- Lecturer: Master’s degree (first division); up to 2 years of relevant teaching or industry experience; strong classroom skills.
